From as early as I can recall, I have always had this intense desire to create, and an even more intense desire to over-achieve. It wasn’t until later in life when I realized that my worth was never meant to be based off my achievements, as I had grown to believe in my whirlwind of adolescent trauma. I suddenly realized that I was completely consumed in a race that I could never win because regardless of how well my entrepreneurial endeavors came to be, I would always be striving for more. It would never be enough.

To escape the burnout of my firstborn business, and the beautiful chaos that is my mind, I began pursuing other artistic endeavors that I once enjoyed. Painting, drawing, designing, writing… nothing went untouched. I soon found myself happily consumed and completely present; a much-needed break between the constant work that I have been drowning myself in for years.

I am only sharing such detail because I feel it is crucial to share full transparency so you can understand and appreciate the love that went into this artwork.

The pieces I have created have brought me so much peace, and I can only hope that you feel a little bit of that, too, when you see them.
